The Hungarian-speaking Reformed Churches in the Carpathian Basin have launched a so-called “Roma Mission”. The main goal is to promote positive public opinion and reduce prejudice in society. At the same time, the Roma population’s ability to self-determination and self-organization is supported. This should bring us closer to the improvement of social life.
“We want to be a church where everyone, regardless of their origin and social position, can experience the inclusive, healing and new life of the gospel of Jesus Christ.” (From the Roma strategy of the Hungarian Reformed Church). Examples from the joint work of congregations and Roma are presented in short film contributions.
The workshop is held in German and English.
Preparation and realization: General Convention of the Hungarian Reformed Church and Reformed Christian Church in Slovakia.
